LTA Policy Regarding Weather Cancellation and Rescheduling

Captains can request a rescheduling by LTA if it is at least 72 business hours out. Remember this is a
volunteer organization and the League coordinator only reviews emails once a day. It could be up to 5
days.

We recommend each captain coordinate rescheduling through the Lakewood Reservations link. This will
be more efficient as each captain can see the availability of courts.

Rescheduling by Captains:

1. Report weather delay to LTA League Coordinator and include the following information:

a. Date

b. Court (Morse or Daniels) and the number of courts being rescheduled

c. If a game is in play -- How long do you need to finish match?
** We need this information to get a weather credit.
2. Captains may reschedule using the Lakewood link
3. Keep the receipt and send to LTA League Coordinator
  • LTA Coordinator will coordinate with the LTA Treasurer for reimbursement.
4. LTA coordinator submits to Lakewood for weather cancellation credit.
